Short Bio:
Jaymeer started drawing at an early age. In 1988/89 under his Mentor Leons’ direction he started to paint with aerosol. In 1990 Jaymeer got his first airbrush, an Iwata HPC. In the early 1990’s he first started working with computer graphics on Amiga, Mac & PC. In 1999 Jaymeer added sculpture & casting to his chosen mediums. He is a current volunteer & Mural Artist at Burnside Skatepark in Portland (Oregon) & Marginal Way D.I.Y. Skatepark in Seattle (Washington). Jaymeer travels nationwide (U.S.) painting murals at skateparks & for a variety of clients in diverse businesses.

Slightly Larger Bio:
Jaymeer is an early volunteer helping with construction, building, and maintaining the world famous Burnside Skatepark. Currently a skateboard local & the main Burnside artist, Jaymeer has depicted skateboarding culture with aerosol murals for over 15 years there, and around Portland. Jaymeer is now also involved with Marginal Way Skatepark a D.I.Y. in Seattle, painting, skateboarding, fundraising & organizing events. Painting murals with the changes of seasons and being involved in art shows and events is a passionate part of Jaymeers’ heart & art. Currently Jaymeer has a section of permanent public artwork on display at the Main Max Transit Center in Gresham (mosaic), and 2 murals at Glenhaven Skatepark in Portland. Multiple murals can be seen at Burnside, Marginal Way and at the Legal Wall in Seattle. Recently in 2009 his artwork was seen in the Powell Ripper Show at ASR in San Diego. Jaymeer appeared on a video on about the show & had artwork & photos published in a book titled, “Rip The Ripper”. In 2009 his artwork also appeared in Productions new film, “Every Day is a Saturday” which premiered Worldwide in Seattle, Wa. In 2008 he was contracted & had artwork in feature films: Paranoid Park, Untraceable, & Why Wouldn’t You (Skateboard film). His artwork also appeared on the Discovery Channel in a segment of, “Download: The True Internet Story”, in an interview on Fuel Tv (Dew Underground Portland) & a commercial on NBC before the Olympics.
With roots in the Midwest, the West Coast and the NorthWest (Portland & Seattle), Jaymeer travels the West Coast & Nationwide often creating commissioned art and donating murals at skateparks and various locations. Jaymeer uses multiple mediums in painting and sculpture. He creates visual art on a variety of subject matter with aerosol, acrylic, airbrush, computer graphics, mixed mediums and photography. Fluent in sculpture Jaymeer works designing, molding and casting with bronze, gold and silver, and also welding and shaping metal among other disciplines.
